Young Buck kicks off 2010 with “Happy New Year”, a diss track titled aimed at his former boss 50 Cent, and crew G-Unit. Even with the New Year upon us, it looks like there will be no resolution reached between these two anytime soon…

We think the track is ’so-so’, but take a listen and judge for yourself:

Lil’ Wayne is on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine to promote his upcoming rock album Rebirth. In an interview with the magazine, the hip hop star talks about what inspired him to do a rock album:

“The rock sh*t just comes from what my life is now,” Wayne, 26, says. “I’ve grown into this person.”…“I don’t want to be the best rapper in the world. Not now,” he says. “I want to be the best. Period. Now. My favorite rapper hasn’t done what I’m doing…”

You can’t knock Lil’ Wayne’s hustle, nor the fact that he is not afraid to crossover and try something new…
